DevOps engineer
In order to ensure the constant development process, we are looking for a mega-person – linux system administrator, “leveled up” to a DevOps-engineer
Tasks:
- support for software development infrastructure
- installation and configuration of Debian-like OS according to development manager’s requirements
- support for building and code testing (continuous integration)
- installation and configuration of Debian + GNS3 based layout according to development manager’s requirements
- installation and configuration of web-server according to frontend-developer’s needs
- installation and configuration of PostgreSQL
- support for VDI and VDS infrastructure according to developers’ current needs
- interaction with hosting provider for a quick resolution of problems, monitoring of compliance with SLA
- interaction with developers on system monitoring issues
- testing exploitation of releases and developed product
What we expect:
- experience in working in large projects (not less than 3 years)
- deep knowledge of TCP/IP stack and network principles
- experience in administrating Debian-like OS (Debian, Ubuntu, Astra Linux)
- experience in administrating monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios)
- understanding of DevOps, Continuous integration principles
- experience in working with GNS3
- experience in administrating PostgreSQL DBMS
- experience in administrating Apache HTTP Server, nginx
- experience in administrating GitLab (including permissions settings, security policies, Git repository, Linux build agents, build queues)
- ability to assemble software from source codes (based on Linux) using gnu make, knowledge of cmake
- understanding of VMWare Horizont based VDI working principles
- experience in self-configuration of network equipment (routing and switching, snmp, vlan)
- experience of sripts development (at least using bash)
- ability to read and understand hardware specifications
- read documentation in English
Preferred to:
- knowledge of programming languages (script ones, etc)
- knowledge of Astra Linux (SE) distribution features and it’s information protection from NDC mechanisms
- ability to work from git from the command line
- knowledge of sql
